Eagles, Twists and Transitions

Focus: Hamstrings, Hips, shoulders, Twists

In this class we don’t move too quickly but we do test our bodies and see how it reacts to yoga.  Garudasana (Eagle Pose) is a pose that challenges shoulders, hips and balance.  We use Garudasana to add complexity and variation to poses like Virabhadrasana II (Warrior 2) and Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) to add some interesting transitions and variations in this class.  Don’t push yourself to hard and strain and struggle for your poses, do the part you can do, breathe, and stay in the present moment.  This class winds down with some reclined poses and twists to refresh and restore the body. Leave with some inspiration to go out and be the best version of yourself you can be.
