Join the Core Strength Revolution, a progressive series of Yoga classes that will build your core strength, stretch your body, and help you prevent injuries.
The core is not one specific muscle, but a range of different tissues that work together as a team to support your spine and pelvis, to provide balance and stability, and generate power to lift and move the body as a single functional unit. Rather than building bulky muscles with endless sit-ups, yoga strengthens the core through using your body weight and gravity.
The Core Strength Revolution starts with postures and simple core exercises to get your body tuned up and ready to go. From there, the classes get progressively more challenging as you begin to feel your body change and feel stronger. Don’t be in a rush to move through the levels, you can practice each one multiple times so that when you move to the next one, you’re ready for the increased tempo and challenge it will bring.
