Empowered and Strengthened

Focus: Beginner Yoga, shoulders, hip flexors, hamstrings, hips, arm balances, core strength

We continue our progression through yoga and building our confidence and learning that through yoga, we can accept ourselves for who we are, right now.  We will introduce more of the full Vinyasa sequence with Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-limbed Staff Pose), Urdvha Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog Pose), and Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog Pose). This class will focus on building space and strength in the body by adding more postures that focus on core strengthening.  Don’t worry, you won’t be in for a core blasting workout, we will work consciously but effectively to add more core strength to the body.  Practice this class as many times as you want and progress when you feel ready; have a great class!
