In this breath-focused practice, you will learn a breathing exercise called anuloma viloma pranayama. In this breath, we learn to start using alternate nostril breathing as a way to learn to balance body and mind. It also can help calm feelings of stress, anxiety or depression. This breathing exercise is a great breath to learn to do as a first responder because through our jobs and what we face daily, we can quickly get out of balance. This breath slows everything down, balances both the sides of your brain and creates harmony in your body and mind.
