Build a Strong Foundation

Focus: Beginner yoga, Hamstrings, Hip Flexors

If you are new to Yoga, then this practice is for you.  In this 30-minute practice, you can gain confidence and find a place to practice without feeling overwhelmed or lost in the various yoga postures.  We all must find a beginning point and this class can give you an entry point to understand why yoga is such a powerful and transformational practice.  The practice introduces Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) and from there we practice yoga poses that build a good foundation for practice. Once you understand how the postures work and feel, you can confidently explore other practices and feel the amazing effects yoga brings to the mind and the body.  Come back to this class whenever you want to review postures and help understand their intricacies or you’re looking to see how far your practice has gone.
