Creating a Consciously Strong Body
Focus: Hamstrings, Hip Flexors, shoulders, Strength
We build heat and get the body ready for the practice through some variations of Surya Namaskar. Using Chataranga variations, we create strength in the shoulders, enabling our practice to flourish. As the class progresses, many options are offered so everyone can find an empowered practice as we move with a consistent pace. We wind the practice down with some reclined postures to lengthen and restore to leave us invigorated and ready to face the day.
