Focus: Adductors, Groin, Hip-opening, Strength
Some days we are just looking for an all-around class that brings a smile to the face and a levity to the mood. This class is designed to create a feel-good feeling throughout the body. When we connect to the body and allow the mind and breath to synchronize with it, we can learn to embrace the good vibrations. In this practice we move slowly and consciously through some standing postures and side bends to find space in the body. There are elements are building strength in the body but not at a pace that is overwhelming or overpowering. We work through a Virabhadrasana 2 (Warrior 2) sequence that builds strength and body integration. As the practice progresses, we move into some hip-opening, twists and Upavistha Konasana (Seated wide-legged forward fold) to help gently expand the body. Have a great practice!
