Finding that Ahhh Feeling
Focus: Arm balances, Core, Strength, Yoga Conditioning
Move with mindfulness as the practice starts slow and then builds in momentum to bring in some more challenging sequences. We add dynamic movements between the postures to build heat and then we find the posture and hold it. This accelerating and decelerating practice can build cardiovascular awareness and some interesting challenges to the practice and be efficient with our time in fitting in our yoga practice. We build strength in the core, arms, and legs so that we are ready to learn to float on our hands in Bakasana (Crow Pose) and some other arm balances. There are always levels to our practice so find the part that you can do and then do it to your best without worrying about the ego and where you expect yourself to be. Practice winds down with some seated postures to cool down and prepare for Savasana, ah…that feels good.
