Intro to Mindfulness for Peak Performance

We use mindful techniques to develop resiliency so that we unlock our mind’s true potential. Many times, in sports, we draw on determination and grit to push through to new boundaries but how do we train this for our mind? We do this through regular mental training that brings our focus to the present. In this class, we use focused awareness to count our breath and be in the present moment. Use this practice daily to refresh and strengthen the mind and learn the mental skills to be successful in competition and also in life. In this practice, we count our breath and use a simple ratio of 4 counts on the inhale, and 6 counts on the exhale.
