Move and Groove

Focus: hip-flexors, hamstrings, hips, hip-opening, adductors

In this class, we focus on opening the hips safely and sustainably. Through doing a yoga practice where you slow down, feel and engage the body, you can develop a deeper awareness of your body. We start with Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) and use this to warm the body so we can progress to targeting the hips. This class will have a lot of focus on variations of Pigeon Pose (Kapotasana) and using this pose to help us explore hip mobility. Near the end of the practice, there will be some exciting hip-openers to inspire and create change in the body. Have fun!
