Rebuild and Empower
Focus: Side-bending, Hamstrings, Balance, Twists
This class is all about empowerment and how yoga can help and inspire you to keep going. Some days are hard, others are easy, but through regular practice, you can find empowerment as you continue to rebuild from your cancer treatment. We focus on poses that will continue to build strength and mobility in your body. We start to add more standing poses like Utkatasana (Chair Pose), Virabhadrasana 2 (Warrior 2) and Trikonasana (Triangle Pose). All this work leads to some reclined postures that help reduce stress, relax the body and mind, and lead to a satisfying Savasana. See you on the mat.
