Focus: hip-flexors, hamstrings, hips, hip-opening, adductors, IT-Bands

This class is about creating strength in the body, so we can recruit the correct amount of muscular support to access hip mobility safely. Through Hatha yoga, we can focus on alignment and find the expression of the pose that works best for our bodies. Our goal is to target mobility around the whole hip complex from hip flexors, inner thighs, to outer hips. We will explore postures like Kapotasana (Pigeon Pose), Vrksasana (Tree Pose), and the challenging Parivritta Ardha Chandrasana (Revolved Half Moon Pose). Through practising these poses, you will help clear the body and the mind. Come back to this class whenever you are looking for a challenge.
