Supple and Strong

Focus: Adductors, Arm balances, Core strengthening, Strength

We learn to engage the muscles in our postures so that our postures are supported, and we can continue to practice for years into the future.  This practice will help develop strength and a more malleable body to bring the two concepts of strength and flexibility into a unified experience in our bodies.  We progress to some arm balance variations and learn to add levity and lightness to the practice. We bring it back with some seated poses like Upavistha Konasana (Seated Wide-legged forward fold) to release the adductors leading us to recline and relax with Savasana (Corpse Pose)
