This class teaches you to let go of tension in the body. By slowing stretching and lengthening the body, we can find more space and learn to relax. As first-responders, we are constantly on the go throughout your shift and life, so finding time to take it slow to be challenging. Learning to slow down, however, is what we need and will be beneficial for body and mind. Don’t worry if you’re not flexible, it doesn’t matter if you are or not; yoga works as soon as you get started. Practice this class whenever you’re looking for a long stretch to get into your body and relax your mind.
